A sought after percussionist and educator, Dave Robilliard earned his Bachelor of Music in Performance at the University of Western Ontario and continued to complete his Master of Music in Performance at Oklahoma City University.
An active performer, Dave appears regularly with the Windsor Symphony Orchestra and the Jeans ‘n’ Classics Rock Symphony and is principal percussionist with the International Symphony Orchestra. He has also appeared with the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony Orchestra, Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestra London Canada and is a past member of the Oklahoma City Philharmonic and the Enid Symphony Orchestra. Dave is also an active theatre musician, having performed as a pit musician and on stage for productions at the Grand Theatre in London and the Victoria Playhouse in Petrolia. He has also performed for many community productions with Theatre Sarnia and Theatre Woodstock.
As an educator, Dave has served on faculty at both the University of Windsor and the University of Western Ontario. He directs the national award-winning South Huron District High School Percussion Ensemble and is in high demand as a clinician in Southwestern Ontario. He is also on faculty at the National Music Camp of Canada, Southampton Summer Music and at PercShop at UWO. He maintains private teaching studios in both Exeter and Petrolia.
